A welcome from Lucia

I’m glad you’re here. This is the start to learning about my unique approach to counselling and therapy.

Pain and distress exist at many levels within us. You might be experiencing unhelpful thoughts or emotions that can be so overwhelming that your thinking becomes confused or clouded. A lot of the time you might understand what is going on within you, but simply feel unable to access or release a certain behaviour, hurt, or anxiety in your life. Maybe you are struggling to hold and contain your emotions. I’m here to help you unfold your own story and to help you achieve the best version of yourself.

How can your therapy techniques help me?

I focus on your character and issues, adapting therapeutic exercises and approaches to work with your specific individual needs. Through hypnotherapy, we bring the subconscious issues that perpetuate our patterns of behaviour to the conscious awareness. We support this work with counselling tools that help us to bring the client in his process to wholeness, self-awareness and healing. I believe energy healing work is vital to this process and it is available to clients who wish to work from this perspective. I can offer counselling, hypnosis and energy healing work together as a package (which produces incredible results) or simply one of these modalities separately.

What makes Counselling for Change different?

In a word, experience. Knowing how it feels to want to change something within ourselves, in our personal circumstances is knowledge that needs to be experienced personally. Change is possible, no matter how great the pain or how long you’ve been experiencing it. A good therapist is one that not only has gone through the appropriate training and has worked with clients successfully, but has also experienced pain and difficulty and has learned to leave it behind. I know what it is like, I know how it feels and it will be an honour to walk this road to self-fulfilment with you.
